and asphalt in Texas and neighboring states and the only full-line u.s. manufacturer of
highway guardrail and crash cushions.
Trinity Highway Products, LLC is the only full-line manufacturer of highway
guardrail and crash cushions in the United States. Its product line features
several proprietary products including end terminals, crash cushions, and a
cable barrier system. These energy- absorbing devices are installed along
highways in the United States and more than 36 countries worldwide.
Transit Mix Concrete & Materials Company is one of the leading concrete and
materials suppliers in Texas. It also has plants in Arkansas and Louisiana.
Trinity Materials, Inc., a leading producer and distributor of aggregates, owns
mining operations in Texas, Arkansas, and Louisiana that produce sand, gravel,
and limestone base. Its aggregate distribution facilities provide rail, barge,
and ship unloading capabilities. Another Trinity Company, Armor Materials,
Inc., is a leading provider in East Texas of asphalt construction and base
products manufactured to customer specifications.
Revenues for the Construction Products Group grew during 2007 to a record level
of $733 million. Operating profit exceeded $58 million. Concrete and aggregates
comprised 63% of revenues, while highway products totaled 33%. Revenues from
other construction products, including bridge steel girders and other specialty
construction products, accounted for 4%.
